You know me. I’m the guy with the single word comment to your Facebook posts, “You’re.”

You write, “Today is my five year anniversary of being sober.” I respond, “Fifth anniversary,” ignoring your impressive accomplishment.

I’m a retired marketing guy who’s worked with many writers doing the kind of editing for which there may be no appellation. To borrow from cuisine nomenclature, one might call it Fusion editing.

Understand that there is writing and there is storytelling. I cannot help you with storytelling. I’m not good at it and that’s why I have a half dozen manuscripts on my hard drive that may never see publication. They’re not interesting. But they are written wonderfully.
